Dr.Dinesh Ramaswamy is a highly accomplished Surgical Gastroenterologist, who completed his MBBS in PSG IMS & R, Coimbatore, MS (General Surgery) in AIIMS, New Delhi, DNB (General Surgery), in The National Board of Examinations and MCh (GI surgery) in GB PANT (MAMC), New Delhi.
He is known for his special expertise in gastrointestinal oncology, liver and pancreatic cancers, colorectal surgery/proctology and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He has served in many of the top institutions in India like Apollo Liver transplantation & HPB surgery unit, Chennai, SIMS hospital, Chennai and Medanta, the Medicity, Gurgaon as a consultant performing various surgeries including the specialties of GI oncology, HPB surgery, advanced laparoscopy, and Colorectal/proctology. He currently has his clinic in Porur, Chennai and is also practicing at Vijaya hospitals, Vadapalani.

He has completed his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College, Thanjavur, MS (General Surgery) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology) from Sanjay Gandhi postgraduate in Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow. He has extensive experience in Surgical Gastroenterology, advanced Laparoscopic surgery (Keyhole surgery), Gastrointestinal cancer surgery and hepatobiliary & pancreatic surgery (Liver, biliary tract and pancreatic surgery).
